My family and I have been visiting Safari Niagara for the past four years, and enjoy the attraction every year we go! It is a fun way to spend a summer day, as children learn and explore.
Safari Niagara is a 150-acre, privately-owned and operated nature park. It has more than 1000 animals of native and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. Visitors of all ages and abilities can experience the park's inhabitants on their own or through educational guided walking tours and tram rides. They also have educational demonstrations including: Wonders of Flight, Big Cat Tour, Interactive Reptile Show, Hippo and Giraffe Encounter, Primates Tour and Zooniversity. We enjoy visiting the Papa Steve's Family Farm, which is a petting zoo, Sky Quest Ropes course, Sky Tykes, and Safari Rides, animal-themed splash pad, and more. There are plenty of shaded picnic areas, a counter-service restaurant and gift shop.
The park opens on May 14th and will be open until October 10th. Safari Niagara is closed on August 10th. www.safariniagara.com
