You're a good man Charlie Brown at Stratford

We had a fabulous time at Stratford Shakespeare Festival watching You're a good man Charlie Brown. We laughed so much that even tears came out, and our jaws hurt :) it was hilarious!

All the fans of the famous Peanuts cartoon will enjoy their characters in this performance, as the actors and the staff behind the scenes did a fabulous job.

The story is about love, friendship, life, and siblings. It even had a dog's perspective of things! There are lots of funny lines related to events that happened in the 90s. My husband and I were able to relate many of these incidence and dialogues to our school days. We don't want to spoil the surprises, references, and jokes by mentioning it here, so go watch this play and enjoy it for yourself.

Settling back after the 20 minutes break was easy as the show started with the same excitement and wonderful special effects. The lighting during different scenes, and the dialogue were clear to understand. The show has a happy ending with the character Lucy saying, "You're a good man Charlie Brown."  We were able to remember most of the dialogue even after the show ended, which surely brought back laughter.

You're a good man Charlie Brown will perform until October 28th. This theatrical experience at Stratford will be enjoyed by children and adults, and bring a good appreciation towards the arts. We liked the small town charm of Stratford, and the enthusiasm for the arts. We enjoyed stopping by at the Gallery Indigena to see the Inuit sculptures and painting as well. 

My family and I had a fabulous time at the show and we think you will too. Have a laugh and think of all the little things that make you happy.
