I am participating in the Microsoft Canada #SummerSwitch 30-day challenge. I was given the Nokia Lumia 920 #windowsphone to explore and use it for my daily activities. I have fallen in love with this phone from the time I saw it because of its sleek, modern, innovative design. It is very comfortable to hold and handle.
This phone is definitely impressive, as I have been having my family, friends and colleagues wanting to check it out and wanting the same for themselves.
I like the wonderful near edge to edge, scratch resistant 4.5" PureMotion HD+ screen that allows me to easily do everything I need. I really enjoy taking pictures with the 8MP PureView camera, as the pictures turn out bright and clear, even in lowlight. This phone camera is the best, as it allows me to get creative with my photography.
I also find it easy to use the phone for keeping in touch with family and friends as well as use it to be socially active and tweet, blog, and use other social media networks. I find the features on the phone easy to adapt to and use, with a little bit of guidelines. I am glad I got support from the friendly Microsoft, Nokia and Rogers staff to start me off, and now have become quite addicted to using this phone.
I really like having the live tiles on the phone. These tiles respond fast and allow me to quickly access the apps I most often use. I am very pleased that I can customize, resize and remove the tiles to personalize according to my preferences and lifestyle. The tiles also help me remember to keep tabs with the social apps I want to use :)
During the training session the experts from Microsoft recommended some apps that I installed right away and am glad to be using. I really like that everything we do can be easily saved to the SkyDrive, so there is no need to back up or fear of loosing information.
My husband being a tech guy has recommended other apps I am using as well. We setup the wallpaper to change everyday, I like having little things like this as it keeps things interesting. I am really enjoying all the details that are put into the phone.
There are ton of wonderful apps that I have already become dependent on. I am having a good time exploring and using different apps on this phone. I will be posting more about all the things I am doing using this phone, there is so much to say :) so follow the challenge on #SummerSwitch.
