Watch the 15 ship fleet at Toronto's waterfront, as the tallest of Tall Ships come to the Redpath Waterfront Festival from June 20th to 23rd. We are excitedly looking forward to enjoy the decks of these Tall Ships, as they come to commemorate the Bicentennial of the War of 1812. I am sure it will bring back memories of our favourite shows like Sinbad, Jake and Never land pirates and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The 86 year old Norway's SS Sørlandet will be joining the festival. This 3-masted fully rigged Tall Ship has been completely refurbished and now sails the oceans of the world, as a floating classroom for Class Afloat.
In addition to the Tall Ships Festival visitors can participate in land activities to take pictures, learn about war heroes and forts, collect coins and interact with costumed soldiers.
