InnoTab® 3 Opens a World of Learning

The InnoTab® 3 by VTech opens a world of learning. There is a wealth of age-appropriate educational games, apps and more that expands our children's minds, creativity and learning. 

Both my 4 and 8 year old enjoy using the 180° 2 megapixel rotating camera and video recorder to capture images and videos. They like using the WonderCam with over 55 photo effects, funny faces and frames to create fun images with the pictures they took. 

Since my children enjoy drawing they took advantage of using the Art Studio to colour, draw, paint and liked that they could save the work to show us. The built-in microphone and headphone jack allows them to become creative with the videos and have fun personalizing the tablet for a welcome back message and recording. There is also a calculator, clock, calendar, a place to make lists and notes that help them learn. The instructions displayed and verbalized on the tablet that we got to review is easy for children to follow, so they mastered it quickly.

The InnoTab® 3 includes 2 styluses, the stylus is attached to the tablet with a string so it would not get lost and can be kept stored on the slot when it is not in use. The tablet can be used horizontally or vertically depending on the software, as it has a tilt and motion sensor. We can use the directional pad or D-Pad control alongside the touchscreen so children can play games and use it for apps. The InnoTab® 3 can also be used as an eBook reader and story dictionary, MP3 Player, photo viewer and video player. 

There is 2 GB on-board memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a micro SD card that is not included. The tablet included 4 AA batteries so the kids used it right away. It is compatible with AC Adaptor or NEW Rechargeable Battery Pack. InnoTab® 3 comes in blue and pink and is sold for $70.

We can get access to hundreds of software cartridges and downloads via the Learning Lodge™ according to the interest of children age 3 to 9 years. My children enjoyed using the 16 apps that were included in this tablet and have made a list of other software they want to explore such as the Monsters University, Turbo, Planes, Sofia the First and many more. I find the software apps to be costly, so we will be making careful purchases.

The entertaining game play on this 4.3" colour touch screen tablet teaches our children reading, math, social studies, science and more. I like that I can log online and check on my children's progress. We like taking this compact size learning tool with us where we go, it keeps my children from "borrowing" our iPad since they started using the InnoTab® 3.
