I like packing a variety of snacks such as fruits and cut vegetables, cheese and crackers for my children to take to school and after school programs. I find it easy to make snacks like short eats, buns, muffins and scones when time permits and leave it in the fridge so my children can have healthy homemade food whenever they want.
Planning ahead of time allows me to make sure my children are getting all the nutrients they need. I usually keep Mott's fruit sauce cups and juice at home for the times I can't make anything, which my children enjoy taking to school.
Sometimes during the school year sending a snack that is both healthy and appealing to children becomes a task in our home :) And challenges me to ask myself "what should I send for school today?"
As the time to go back to school nears, Mott's introduces their New Mott's Fruitstations + Veggie fruit snacks.
These gluten free, naturally flavoured packages of Assorted and Berry Mott's Fruitstations + Veggie fruit snacks are small "gummy bear" like snacks without the gelatine :) I like that each package contains 10 pouches, with each pouch containing 22.6g (about 8 fruit flavoured snacks) so we can take it for a quick snack when we go out, to school or to work :) Since my children's school encourages litter-less lunches it allows me to give them about 4 each in their lunch box along with their other snacks and lunch. Everyone in my family like both the scent and flavours of this chewy snack. As the time to go back to school nears, Mott's introduces their New Mott's Fruitstations + Veggie fruit snacks.
