Crafts Made to Decorate The Table For Thanksgiving Weekend

I made these Thanksgiving themed crafts with my children, as part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias® using material I bought from Michaels Arts and Crafts Store and things found around our home.

I encourage my children to be thankful everyday and remind them about those who are less fortunate than us. I also teach them to be thankful for the bounties and mercy of God for providing us with everything we need. We made a table centrepiece, place cards and napkin rings to decorate our table when we have guests during the long weekend.
For the table centrepiece you will need...
Decorative pot
Colourful cloth flowers purchased from Michaels
Foam craft block

Place the foam craft block to fit inside the decorative pot. Then place the flowers decoratively and use it as a table centrepiece.

To make the place cards...
Colourful cardboard
Scissors
Variety of dried beans
Glue
Pinecones optional
We cut up leaf shapes with cardboard. It is easy to keep the different coloured dried beans in containers before starting the project.

My children enjoyed decorating around the edges of the leaf shape with different types of dried lentils using glue. After the lentils dried we wrote the names of our guest and placed the cards on top of a pinecone.
To make the napkin rings you will need...
Paper towel roll
Variety of colourful craft tissue paper
Scissors
Glue

Cut the paper towel roll to about 2" rings. Use craft tissue paper and glue to decorate the paper towel rings all around.
Once it is dry put a clean hand towel through the rings and place it in the table.

Start planning for the upcoming Thanksgiving long weekend and Enjoy :)
