Are You In A Gumergency? Then You Will Want To Win This Kit

Excel has coined the term and brought awareness to the Gumergency – the desperate need for gum because of bad breath. Excel conducted a playful survey, inquiring how Canadians deal with bad breath situations, the odd times they've chewed gum (while sky diving) and even styles of gum chewing – are you a chomper or a quick chew artist?

The results are in and it shows Canadians across the country are facing a Gumergency – a situation where they (or someone they know) is in desperate need of gum!

96% of Canadians who chew gum have experienced someone with bad breath at home (51%), the office (75%) or other situations when fresh breath matters most (including public transit and in stores).
Of the 900 survey respondents, gumergencies were most often brought on by eating food or drinking coffee. 
The survey also discovered that Canadians tend to offer or chew gum to manage breath-related emergencies. In fact, a surprising number of respondents admitted they kept breath fresh by chewing gum in rather peculiar situations.
Gumergency Hotline
To help Canadians open up about bad breath, Excel has created a funny Gumergency Hotline to provide solutions for coping with any breath-related emergency. Canadians can call 1-855-EXCEL-IT to receive tips for managing bad breath moments whenever and wherever those may be – at home, in the elevator, at work, you name it.

    I live in Ontario! I'm not a big gum chewer - I chewed a lot of gum when I quit smoking 13 years ago...but I have 2 girls and a hubby that chew gum A LOT!
