My children enjoyed making Eid greeting cards using mixed material. They used...
colourful card paper or bristol board
white paper
wool
markers
ribbon
glitter
scissors
My daughter drew and cut out a sheep with white paper and glued it to the card paper.
Then to decorate the sheep she put wool and glued it to the middle and top of the sheep.
The ears and feet of the sheep are coloured using markers. She has written a Eid Mubarak message inside the card.
My son cut the shape of the kite using a bristol board and placed a ribbon on the bottom and put glitter on the construction paper that we kept as a decor for the festival.
It is fun for children to create handmade cards using a variety of mixed media and make it relevant for the occasion.
