Delivery Man featuring Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt and Cobie Smulders, arrives on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On-Demand on March 25th. This is a good, heartwarming comedy that adults will enjoy watching. It is about an underachiever David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) who learns he is actually an overachiever when he finds out he has fathered 533 children via donations made twenty years ago.
David soon discovers that the shock of his life might just be the best thing that has ever happened to him. Along the way he discovers not only his true self, but also the father he could become.
Having a couple of children myself has changed my perspective on life and priorities. I guess I felt as an adult only after having my children because of the amount of responsibility that comes with being a parent. Although David Wozniak had 533 children in this movie, he didn't go through the responsibility of taking care of the children when they are young. I think taking care of little ones demands lots of patience and this is the stage we can influence them to be good adults. By the time David in the movie met 142 of his biological children who wanted to find out who their biological father, they were adults living on their own.
However, I like that David in the movie was trying to help each of his children once he got to know about their existence. I think every parent is blessed with an intuition from God to help their children in many possible ways. I am sure as parents even we really don't know how it happens but we are always there to catch them before they fall most times literally and figuratively.
