If you visit Toronto, CN Tower is an attraction that is fun to visit, as you get to see a view of Toronto from the top. Seeing Toronto in this perspective is exciting for both adults and children.
Once we enter through the security screening and proceed there is lots of information that teaches us about the CN tower, and compares it to other tall buildings in the world.
It is beautiful to see the lake in one side and the city on the other, which looks congested :) but architecturally pleasing.
Once we go up the elevator in less than a minute we can see the breathtaking view of Toronto from the LookOut Level (346 m).
The Glass Floor is made with 2 1/2" thick clear tempered glass that has 42" by 50" panels attached with scuff plates. Standing on the Glass Floor can test our nerves, however it is lots of fun for both children and adults to walk, crawl, sit or jump, as it can withstand the weight of 14 large hippos.
Through the Glass Floor we can see the top of the Ripley's Aquarium. Once we take the SkyPod elevators, which is not part of the general admission we can go as high as 447m (147 stories) and see a 360 degree unobstructed Panoramic view of Toronto, Lake Ontario and surrounding regions.
If you are a thrill seeker, you will want to check out the EdgeWalk at the CN Tower, which is the first of its kind in North America allowing a maximum of 6 people plus the trained guide to walk in a 150 m long full circle hands-free. People are attached to an overhead safety rail through a trolley and harness system. The ledge they walk on encircles the top of the tower's main pod, which is 356 m high and 1.5m wide. If you want to do this, then check out more information on their site and pre-book.
Inside the CN tower they have restaurants, a play area for children, and gift shops to get memorable souvenirs.
Why not visit CN tower today and see Toronto from the top :)
