Lincoln Logs are a wonderful toy that will increase many aspects of our children's development. John Lloyd Wright, son of the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, invented Lincoln Logs in 1916. This classic construction toy beloved by children of all ages will help improve physical fine motor skills, creativity, building skills, and many other cognition skills, as children learn to balance and problem solve when building with these wooden logs.
The logs used in all Lincoln Logs sets are made from real wood, and the building sets have plastic accessories, including a Cowboy figure and horse. My children enjoyed building the Grand Pine Lodge set that comes with over 100 pieces to build a lodge with an attached stable. I like that the set comes with building instructions and a handy storage container for quick clean up. This set is wonderful toy for children over 3 years.
My children really enjoyed trying to balance the logs and following the instructions that came with the set. Once the stable was built, both my children felt a sense of achievement and enjoyed using the accessories and role playing. They also used the logs in different ways to make structures. Keep yourself posted about the Lincoln Logs on Facebook and learn about their new educational products, which is really useful for children's development.
