Fight for Your Write and be a Handwriting Hero

BIC has developed a range of trendy writing tools and handwriting activities that engages and motivates children for the upcoming school year. Learning how to write by hand is an important and crucial skill that helps children develop skills such as physical fine motor skills, cognitive skills, social, emotional, literacy, and communication skills. Being able to write encourages a sense of independence that helps children become thoughtful, inquisitive and confident learners. 

Be a Handwriting Hero!

BIC – a leading manufacturer of writing, marking and correction products – is encouraging Canadians to join the BIC Fight For Your Write movement and make handwriting part of every child's daily life. The campaign includes weekly handwriting challenges until September 19th on www.BICFightForYourWrite.ca to help prepare children for the upcoming school year and spark their creativity. My children have been enjoying being part of the challenges. 

For every challenge submission, BIC will donate $10 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, a leading provider of quality after school and out-of-school programs for children and youth. BIC wants to help ensure Canadian children and youth have access to the best possible tools for success, which will help develop their abilities, self-esteem, confidence and skills for life.

Submissions will also be entered into a weekly draw for a chance to win BIC Stationery prizes and one entry into the grand prize draw to win $5,000 towards the child's education. Let your child be a Handwriting Hero by submitting to the weekly challenges.
