LeapStart is a wonderful all-in-one interactive early learning system for Preschool to Grade One. This system teaches school and life skills to curious two to seven year old children. My children enjoyed the variety of books that cover topics such as reading comprehension, communication, phonics, writing skills, social and emotional skills, math, problem solving, stem, and more.
Each LeapStart system comes with a sampler book: Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten oriented (LeapStart Jr.) or Kindergarten and Grade One oriented (LeapStart Sr.). This portable children friendly device requires two AA batteries, and has an easy grip stylus, sampler book, and a downloadable Guide to Getting Kids Ready for School.
I like how this interactive learning systems help build key skills and challenge children to have fun while getting them ready to their next step in learning. My children found each page to be fun. Each book in the library is packed with over 30 activities. Games, jokes and songs come to life, children will enjoy tracing numbers, hunting for letters, composing their own music, and much more. Watch the video below to see few of the books in action, and you will notice how encouraging these books are children to continue playing with and learning from.
The stylus is ergonomically designed for smaller hands to handle. It helps children practice finer pen control. Using the stylus, children can tap any page to activate audio responses and play activities that are designed to keep them engaged and learning.
LeapStart learning systems work with a complete library of 16 activity books with content available in four learning levels. The systems work with a library of re-playable activity books that are sold separately for $12.99.
Each learning level teaches more than 50 key skills beyond the alphabet and numbers. From life skills to daily routines, to science and coding the LeapStart complements early school. This system was fun for my children while were travelling, as it kept them entertained as well as let them practice learning skills.

My oldest son had something like this years ago when he was little...I believe it was one of the first leapstart books that were made (he's almost 22). I'm seriously considering picking one up for my 6 year old, such a great interactive learning tool! I love leapfrog!
