We enjoyed the IMAX Experience of watching the Voyage of Time, the new film from
acclaimed American filmmaker Terrence Malick and IMAX Entertainment. Starting October 22 the film will screen on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. at the Ontario Science Centre.
This giant‐screen 45 minute adventure
narrated by Brad Pitt transports audiences directly into the story of the universe and life
itself. Voyage of Time also premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. The crystal‐clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital
audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
We found Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience to be one‐of‐a‐kind celebration of life and the grand history
of the cosmos, transporting audiences into a vast, yet up‐close‐and‐personal journey that spans
the eons from the Big Bang to the dinosaur age to our present human world, and beyond. It made us think how miraculous the concept of life, love, death is. The film has a little narration giving time for thought. Each picture takes a closer look at the universe and makes us contemplate and pay attention to the details that surrounds us. My family and I found this film as a reminder to be thankful for God's gifts that we sometimes take for granted.
The film's panorama of awe‐inspiring
images will take us into the heart of the most monumental events ever witnessed - from the
birth of the stars and galaxies to the explosion of diverse life‐forms on planet earth, including
humankind - in captivating new ways that only IMAX can deliver. Don't miss this IMAX experience that shows beautiful images of nature, life and scientific discovery.
