We transformed a clipboard into a chalk board using the Americana Chalkboard Paint. This chalk board will by useful to hang anywhere you need to write quick messages in your home or office.
For this project I used...Clipboard
Paintbrush
Americana Black Slate Chalkboard Paint
Chalk to cure the board
Crocheted heart shape duster
Americana Chalkboard Paint can transform a wide range of surfaces such as memo boards, canister labels and more into chalkboards. This non-toxic brushable formula is made in the USA. I like that this durable finish cleans up easily from surfaces while it is wet with soap and water.
Shake the container well before applying one coat horizontally and allow to dry for one hour. Apply the second coat vertically and allow to dry. Let the surface cure for 24 hours. Condition surface by lightly rubbing the side of a piece of chalk across it.
Pattern for the heart shaped duster that can be hung on the clipboard is inspired by the pattern on 100 Little Crochet Gifts to Make.
