Having had the pleasure of staying at Lakes of Wasaga, Parkbridge Life Resort last summer, we anticipated to have another memorable time at the resort this year. As we spent time at the chalet, we felt like it was home away from home.
This year, we stayed in a two bedroom chalet that had a cozy, homey feel that everyone in our family enjoyed. The bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed was perfect for us. The fully equipped kitchen has all the tools - cookware, dishes, utensils and appliances, which were useful to make our meals easily at the chalet to enjoy homemade meals. The open concept layout with the dining space within the kitchen area and living room space with a fireplace and television makes it possible for everyone in the family to be in the same space and spend time together. There is a full washroom in the hallway between both the rooms.
Within the chalet there is a laundry machine and dryer, which makes it easy to rinse the swimwear and put it out to dry in the patio. This chalet has a closed patio portion, perfect to relax and enjoy the cool breeze, watch and listen to the birds, as well as the water fountain in the man-made lake facing the backyard of the chalet. There is a barbecue in the open deck area of the patio, where we prepared some of the meals. Watch the video below to tour the inside of the chalet and take a peek at Wasaga beach.
We like that the community is well maintained with beautiful landscapes and trees giving a peaceful green feel. Although, the chalets look close in proximity we found the friendly gated community to be quiet with lots of privacy. The rental properties do not allow pets, and we found the space clean. There are cleaning tools and supplies for our convenience, so we can maintain the homey feel and enjoy the space during our stay. There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby, so we can pack light when planning to stay at a rented chalet and just have a relaxing time.
We spent a lot of time enjoying the variety of activities at the resort from mini-golf, tennis, basketball, swimming pools, and more. Since the beach is a short walking distance, we went several times. The cooling freshwater and white sandy beach is a place to have lots of fun. Staying at the Parkbridge Life Resort Wasaga Beach makes it convenient to enjoy the beach more easily with children.
We had a relaxing time and made lots of new memories. Our children thought the time flew by, and said how they will miss the chalet and the community. Staying at Parkbridge Resort is a wonderful way to explore attractions in the area, relax, rejuvenate, spend quality time with the family and make new memories.
If you like to spend time with your family and make memories all year round you can rent a two or three bedroom chalet at Lakesofwasaga.com or purchase your own chalet.
