Getting Ready for School and Rearranging Our Workspace

It is very important for children and adults alike to setup a separate space to either do homework or office work without distractions. We have a dedicated room to study, work, and practice our creative flow. We spruced up our creative corner by adding a couple of office and school furniture from Canadian Tire. The CANVAS brand Blair office chair and the Clara desk go well together and bring a whole different, refreshing feel to the room.

I like the simple and comfortable design of these pieces that require us to do some assembling. The Clara desk has a one piece drawer that is separated into compartments, which makes it easy to stay organized. The Blair office chair can be adjusted for our comfort. Although, white leather in a creative space can easily get dirty, we really like the combination of the white leather and chrome finish on this chair that adds an elegance to the space.

To get ready for a new school year, children also need proper sports attire, footwear, and fitness gear. We regularly shop at Sport Chek for these types of needs and wants of every member in our family.

Sport Chek carries sports gear, fitness related products, clothes, accessories, and footwear from brand names such as Nike and Under Armour that we like. We like the lasting quality of these products, and our children love the unique designs and fashion trends.

We invested in activity trackers early this year to help us become motivated and mindful of our health. Every member in our family has a fitbit that helps us to intentionally stay active.

Although we will miss the carefree summer days as we prepare for the new school year, we are slowly trying to practice our back to school routines. Rearranging our study and work space, as well as children getting their clothes and accessories ready has helped towards gearing back to school.

    Sport Check is awesome! Love the chair. I always go and try to find good deals in there on the kids clothing. Sometimes you can get it 80% off.

    i really like the Under Armor back pack. I will have to check them out for my daughter. She is in highschool and wants something more grown up looking. LOL

    I agree that it's important to have a separate space for kids for homework and adults for work but it's not always possible. My kids' rooms are small so homework gets done at the kitchen table.

    I actually went and looked up this chair on Canadian Tire's Website. I need a new one as well. Has it stained at all? I have kids with markers.
