Changing tires is utmost important especially with our ever changing weather conditions. We recently switched our vehicle's tires to All Season Michelin Premier LTX tires and this has made a huge change in our vehicles' performance.
These tires use Michelin's EverGrip technology, which gives drivers exceptional levels of safety even as the tires wear down. The hidden grooves in these tires only emerge as the tires wear down. These tires also have expanding rain grooves that widen over time to evacuate water. Michelin uses a unique rubber compound for increased wet grip, that gives traction we need especially in wet road conditions.
EverGrip tires feature a proprietary rubber compound with extreme amount of silica and sunflower oil. The silica helps strengthen bonding and adherence to keep the treads on the road for high traction. It gives tires improved grip for performance and low rolling resistance for improved fuel efficiency.
The three elements: hidden or emerging grooves, expanding rain grooves, and the high traction rubber compound give exceptional traction we want in a range of weather conditions throughout the year. We feel relieved that the tires have shorter stopping, hydroplaning resistance and increased grip when it is new as well as when the tires wear down giving us more control to keep the car firmly on the road.
Tires are more than just rubber; it is a complex combination of chemicals molded together and wrapped in intricate tread designed to propel our vehicles forward or to stop. Since tires connect our vehicle to the road, it is a good idea to pay attention to the type of tire we put on our vehicle. It is crucial for our safety and critical to maintain control and stop the vehicle. We are happy that Michelin Premier LTX tires are designed to stand the test of time because we all know that over time it is guaranteed the tires will wear down.
The Michelin Premier LTX tires are currently available in fifty one sizes ranging from sixteen to twenty two inches to fit a range of SUVs, CUVs, light trucks, and utility vehicles. We love that it is easy to find the most suitable tire for our vehicle model online in the Michelin website.
