In our home we enjoy drinking coffee frequently. We have been using the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Single Serve coffee maker, and the fabulous Hamilton Beach Coffee Grinder to prepare delicious cups of coffee. 

This Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Single Serve coffee maker model 49974 brews into a single cup or 8" tall travel mug. This is perfect for us, as we don't need to brew a whole pot each time we want to enjoy one cup of coffee. We love that cleaning up after a cup of coffee is easy since we just need to clean the filter and the mug we drink the coffee in. Cleaning the machine is also easy because the drip tray, cup rest cover, storage container, and the funnel can be removed to rinse and clean. The idea of being able to see the water reservoir through the water window is useful for us, so we can ensure there is no overflow.

We really like that with this coffee maker we have the options of either putting our own coffee grounds into the reusable coffee brew basket that doesn't require a filter, or use store bought coffee pods by placing it in the gray removable single serve pack holder. 

It is simple to use this coffee maker by filling the water, then adding the coffee grounds or inserting a store bought coffee pod then pressing down the lid, and pushing the brew button. There is a storage space to store the basket that is not in use, which is convenient to keep all the pieces we need close by.

We enjoy buying different types of coffee beans and grinding it ourselves using the Hamilton Beach Coffee Grinder model 80392. We like the simplicity of this grinder. This coffee grinder has a capacity to grind up to 14 cups, which we can select by switching the cup selector. We can also set the grind settings to coarse perfect for French press, medium for drip coffee or fine for steam expresso. 

Inside the grinder, there is a indicator for the level of spices we can place, so we tried grinding whole spices like allspice, cumin and pepper which worked well, however when cinnamon sticks were placed on its own it didn't work. We find having the grinder operate hands free makes it convenient. This Hamilton Beach coffee grinder shuts off automatically once it finishes grinding to the setting we choose. 

We really like the well thought out design of this grinder. Having a removable grinding chamber is convenient to pour the content into a container and easily wash it with soap and water. The cord can be rolled and hidden. The grinder comes with a small cleaning brush, which can be stored on the back of the grinder. This is a fabulous appliance to have in any home to grind coffee or spices. 

We can easily purchase these appliances and a variety of different blends of coffee on Amazon.ca. We recently purchased a couple of Tim Hortons brand ground coffee on Amazon. They also have Tim Horton's variety K cup 30 count. Amazon.ca also has a variety of insulated coffee mugs and travel mugs perfect to enjoy coffee at home or  on-the-go.
