DecoArt Galaxy Glitter helps us add sparkle to our projects without making a big glitter mess. I like these brush on glitter acrylic to add shimmer and shine to our projects and home décor accents. I enjoyed doing this painting on canvas with a variety of different acrylic colours and galaxy glitter acrylic paint.
The paint is available in multi-sized containers and colours. The crystal clear base is water-based, but permanent. It is made in the USA. The clean up is easy with soap and water.
Before applying the paint, shake the container well, and use an appropriate paint brush. Allow the paint to dry before adding additional coats. To get more intense colour it is best to apply it over similar DecoArt acrylic paint colour.
Here are a few rock painting we did for the garden this summer using DecoArt acrylic paint.

This year, we expanded our herb garden and added more perennial herbs. These painted rocks are a fun way to display what each herb is.
Make sure after every project the brushes are washed with mild soap, rinse and reshape with fingers. Do not soak the brushes for long.
For a few projects I have been using the Ultra fine writer tip, which fits most 2oz acrylic craft paint bottles as it has a twist-on cap. It is easy to draw fine lines with this tip. The tip comes with a self cleaning cap to place on the writing or applicator tip when we are done using, which prevents the paint from clogging the tip. One issue I had was the paint coming from the side of the 2oz paint bottle as I was squeezing the bottle lightly to write, since the paint was thick it did not drip.
