Fun and Engaging Toys

I like investing in toys and kits that not only engage my children, but also encourage their development. Just in time for the holidays, we checked out two new products from Basic Fun! - Cutetitos and Cutetitos Babitos and a couple of ooey-gooey fun kits and Globber scooter from Incredible Novelties.

I love kits that encourage us to have fun during the process and then enjoy the end product. This Nickelodeon Lemonade Slime Kit allows us to mix and make our very own refreshingly cool strawberry lemon-scented slime that ooze through our fingers. We can also add foam cubes and lemon beads into our slime. 

This kit is for children over 6 years, and it comes with everything you need to make slime: clear glue, slime activator, scented colorants, mixing bowls, and cups. This kit is only available at Toys R Us.

Stretchy Sand looks solid like clay, but it is flowy like sand, and stretchy like slime. We can knead it, build shapes with it, or stretch it for hours of fun. The stretchy sand will keep well in the re-sealable tub it comes in. This stretchy sand makes a fun sensory activity suitable for everyone over 3 years. It is available in four colours: pink, purple, green and blue and can be purchased at Indigo, Mastermind, and more. 

Primo Globber scooter offers stability with a three wheel structure and a low-ride foot deck, both ideal for developing balance and confidence. The steering lock system and lean steering will teach children how to ride and safely learn how to turn. The adjustable handlebars allow the scooter to grow up with the little ones as it has three height settings. 

The Primo, for children over 3 years, is a fun kids scooter ideal for young riders and first time scooting experiences. This scooter can be purchased at ToysRus.ca. 

My children loving welcomed Cutetitos and Cutetitos Babitos to their soft toys collection. These adorable collectible stuffed furry friends for children over 3 years is wrapped and hidden in burrito blankets that kids can unroll and discover!

Cutetitos characters are soft, and have beads or pellets inside it to give weight and stability. The blankets are also soft and have velcro so children can roll their pets back into the blankets and keep it secure. There are twelve new characters in Series 2. Each Cutetitos comes with its own burrito blanket, personality "Hot Spot" (mild, medium, hot or super spicy), and Pet Collector card with the pet's name, species and birthday.

Basic Fun! has also launched Cutetitos Babitos (Series 1), new surprise-packed Furry Baby Friends. Babitos are 3-inch plush animal characters that come in taco shaped containers. 

Just like the Series 2 Cutetitos they too have hot spot personalities that come hidden in their very own burrito blanket. These burrito blankets are thinner and not soft as the Cutetitos' blankets. The Cutetitos Babitos have the beads in the top of the body. Each of the 12 different Babitos characters come with a cloth velcro diaper either in pink or blue. Cutetitos and Cutetitos Babitos are available at Walmart, Toys R Us and Indigo.
