Finally the weather is warming up and we think an ice cream cake is a perfect way to welcome the warm weather. This spring Baskin-Robbins Canada launches three new flavours - Breakfast in Bed, Ube Coconut Swirl, and Non-Dairy Mint Chocochunk. We tried their Tall Stack Cake with the Breakfast in Bed flavour.
This ice cream cake looks like a stack of pancake with maple syrup over it. This cake features a combination of flavours we enjoyed. You can taste pieces of pancake, maple syrup, a blueberry compote ribbon that has a slight tangy sweet taste from the blueberry. The outside of the cake has icing piped to make it look like stacked pancakes. There is a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream to complete this breakfast look.
This would be an interesting and a surprising breakfast experience to present for Mother's Day this weekend or any special day!
