Counting Down the Year in Streaming
As a member of the Netflix StreamTeam, my family and I are looking back and reflecting on our Netflix moments of this year. We have used Netflix shows to start conversations, persuade family and friends to watch what we like, and streamed smarter using Google.

Inspiring Our Children to Make a Positive Difference
As parents, we believe it is our duty to be good role models and inspire our sons and daughters to make a positive difference to society and the environment. Teaching that every little act makes a difference is becoming more and more important, especially in our fast-paced technology driven society. It is important that we take the time to slow down and see how we can benefit others, be more respectful, and conscientious.

Binge Watching Netflix Shows Guilt Free #ad
Have you ever cheated on your binge-partner after agreeing to watch the shows together? While we would not want to always admit, I am sure many of us have occasionally cheated and watched an episode, two or all of the shows without waiting for our binge-partner. This has definitely happened in our home between the adults and children on more than one occasion!

Shows We Plan to Watch on Netflix
We like shows that everyone in our family can enjoy watching together without feeling uncomfortable with the content that comes up. I am hoping Netflix will continue to update the selection with more nature shows, and movies and shows that we can watch, and learn about how wonderful our world is and about important things that could benefit us and those around us.

Shows on Netflix
Summer holidays are around the corner, which means with the longer days and later bedtimes there is more time for outdoor activities and time to take breaks with Netflix. The third season of All Hail King Julien has arrived on Netflix, which is one of our favourite shows to watch as a family.

Shows Siblings Enjoy Watching
I believe that most times siblings can manage to get along. While growing up with my siblings it was sometimes hard to decide what we wanted to watch. I think our age and gender played a role in what we enjoyed watching. Looking at my children grow up, I see that it is not always easy for them to settle on which shows they want to watch together either.

Spending a Night In With Netflix munching on Vegetable Fritters
On a cold winter evening, spending a night in with Netflix is easy! During our routine of Netflix nights, bundling up with blankets on the couch with pjs, and munching on homemade goodies is how we spend our night in. Our favourite go to shows on Netflix are classics, family movies, and new Netflix original shows.

New Year New View with Netflix
Although, I make resolutions throughout the year it is nice to get reminders to start reflecting, and prioritizing what we want to do in the beginning of a new year. I plan to continue doing more crafts, DIY projects, renovations, cooking and baking food from different cuisines, and travelling with my family.

Cozy Up With Your Family to Watch These Fun Movies on Netflix
With many of us in our back to school routine finding the time to watch a show together as a family becomes even more special. Cozying up during a cool and rainy evening with warm snacks, popcorn, and a blanket is lots of fun. My family and I love talking about movies and shows after we watch them. We enjoy talking about the memorable parts, and what we think about certain parts of the show that were funny or sad.

What's New on Netflix: DinoTrux & S.T.E.A.M inspired Project Mc2
We watched the first episode Netflix original series DinoTrux from DreamWorks, which will be launching on August 14th. My son being a big dinosaur fan loves the show that is based on the award-winning children’s book series by Chris Gall. DinoTrux features hybrid dinosaur/construction vehicle characters, and follows the larger-than-life adventures of two unlikely best friends, Ty Trux, a massive Tyrannosaurus Trux, and his tiny friend Revvit, a razor-smart Reptool.

Dragons Race to the Edge is on Netflix
My family and I had an exciting time when we went to the screening party for Dragons Race to the Edge in Toronto hosted by Netflix. Since we watched the first two episodes at the event, my children being Dragons fans couldn't wait to finish watching the rest of the episodes. They completed watching all the episodes and enjoyed each one of them.

New Shows and Some Old Fun to Watch Shows on Netflix
I like that Netflix has a dedicated section for kids under 12 years old featuring dozens of original series for kids, TV shows, and movies from PBS, Disney Channel, DreamWorks Animation, Mattel, Hasbro, LEGO and Scholastic all in a commercial free environment. The dedicated section for kids can be accessed from any device, including PCs and Macs, iPads, game consoles, streaming devices, and smart TVs. Members are provided a kids profile upon sign up, which can be customized.

Playing, After Watching Ever After High Netflix Original
At the Ever After High’s annual spring fairest everything is topsy-turvy where up means down, and royal means rebel. My daughter enjoys playing with the storybook dollhouse, and the Ever After High dolls because she can replay what she has enjoyed on the Netflix Original Ever After High, and also make her own stories during play.

Exploring Science
My family and I love exploring science on a regular basis by going to the Science Centre, reading books related to science, watching shows related to science, and also exploring science at home. Here is an experiment my children did where they inflated a balloon without blowing, hope you get to try it with your little ones during the March Break.
