Murphys Point Provincial Park is about 3 hours from Toronto, located 20 minutes south of Perth, Ontario on Big Rideau Lake. This is part of the historic Rideau Waterway. As we spent 3 days and 2 nights at this park, we really enjoyed the camping site and the many hiking trails.

Learning to Camp graduate program at Sibbald Point
Camping is a lot of fun because it breaks our everyday routine. However, if you haven't gone camping before it can be intimidating! We became comfortable with car camping and investing in camping gear only after our session with Ontario Parks Learn to Camp few years ago. Since then we have gone on numerous camping trips at different Ontario Parks to enjoy the beauty of nature and to connect with each other.

Carefree Camping at the KOA Deluxe Cabin
We loved our two-night weekend stay at the Toronto West KOA in Campbellville, Ontario. There are more than 485 Kampgrounds of America (KOA) locations in the U.S.A. and Canada since founder Dave Drum constructed a campground on the banks of Yellowstone River in Billings, Montana in 1962. The campgrounds are conveniently located close to the highways and byways so we can stay overnight and relax during road trips without detouring before proceeding with long journeys.

Must Have Travel Products For Our Outdoor Adventures
This iPod or iPhone 5 sleek E-Case with access to the headphone jack allowed me to experience complete functionality even when it was raining outside because of its waterproof protection. The waterproof SealLock zipper guarantees protection from all the elements. This e-case allows the phone to withstand for 30 minutes when it is submersed into 1 meter of water.

Learning to Camp with Ontario Parks
Camping is a fun getaway to do with the family and take a break from life’s stress and pace. My family and I loved experiencing the fun Learn to Camp program hosted by Ontario Parks. We got to know about this program through a community information session that Ontario Parks hosted. We learned everything we need to know about camping without harming the environment. Camping with knowledge encourages us to do this recreational activity more often, and learn to relax in nature and appreciate it more.

Our Stay at Santa's Whispering Pines Campground Cabin
When we went to Santa's Village, we decided to stay over one night at Santa's Whispering Pines Campground so we didn't have to drive back on the same day. This being our first overnight camping trip with the kids, we were very excited. Santa's Whispering Pines Campground has been voted to be the Best Campground in Muskoka for the last two years, so we knew we were going to be in good hands. Except for a few mosquito bites, thank God everything was smooth and we loved our experience.
