Usually when people look to buy their first car, the main option for many people are to buy a used car.  We bought a used car through a car dealer years ago when we were starting our family, mainly because of the cost of auto insurance and prices of new cars.  

Buying a used car was traditionally done through a used car dealer or through Auto Trader magazines.  However, times have significantly changed because of the Internet.  We can now shop for a used car online from the convenience of our home. 

There are so many options and websites in the Internet that it is hard to know which ones are for real and which ones are scams.  I know for sure that none of us want to lose our hard earned money to internet scams.  This is why it is important for us to use our common sense and be careful of fake ads, manipulated car images and details.
