Our Completed DIY Modern, Eco-Friendly #BathroomReno
We started a #BathroomReno project in the beginning of November, as a weekend and some days in the evening type of project. Having one full washroom and a powder room in our home is not convenient for a growing family like us, so instead of moving to a bigger home we wanted to upgrade ours to accommodate all the family members.

Delta Accessories to Spark Up Our Bathroom
Every bathroom to be comfortable and complete needs useful, strong accessories. We used the Lahara collection Delta accessories to spark up our #BathroomReno. Adding themed accessories gives a unique, and useful touch to our bathroom.
We installed the Lahara toilet paper holder, towel ring, 24" towel bar and robe hook, which gives a wonderful accent to the entire bathroom.

Elegance and Convenience in Our Shower Stall
There are lots of benefits in having a hand shower in the shower stall.
I like using the hand shower since it gives us the freedom of movement. It is convenient for everyone in the family with different heights to use. Having a hand shower in a home with children, seniors and pets is helpful. I find using the hand shower to clean the shower stall surface, allows us to easily remove soap residue and grime. Using the handheld shower also helps conserve water.

Adding Lahara Touch2O Technology Faucet To Our Bathroom
You may already know about our DIY #BathroomReno project, we started a couple of months ago. I am glad our hard work during some evenings and weekends are paying off and the project is coming together to reflect our vision. With so many options available in today's market, my husband and I planned to invest and make our bathroom modern and eco-friendly.

Planning Our #BathroomReno DIY Project
As our family grows and children are becoming bigger, it is easier for us to do upgrades and renovations to fit the needs and comfort of our growing families rather than moving. During fall many of you like us, plan on doing indoor renovations and look for helpful information. Doing the renovations ourself is lots of fun, as it gives us the comfort of using any product we like and saves us a lot of money.

Lots of Fun We Had a Around the Theme of Despicable Me
Since Despicable Me 2 started playing in the theatres July 3rd, it has been about minions and Gru in our home. We enjoy playing Operation and Monopoly Hasbro board games with the Despicable Me theme. We went to Home Depot and my children enjoyed making the cute Lucy's car, while wearing the minion hard hat, a badge/pin and apron.

Shur-line painting products
Spring is on its way. If you are like me, you are already planning renovating projects :) I think Spring and Summer is the best time to paint. Although it is cheaper to do the painting ourselves it is a tiresome job.
Shur-line has made our jobs easier with their Easy Release Roller Frames. It is designed with a lever system that releases the roller cover for cleaning and disposal by squeezing the lever once. This means there is no need to pull and will save time and energy avoiding the messy work of cleaning our hands and clothes.
The roller works with any standard roller cover and doesn't slip off. It is comfortable and prevents hands from getting tired. It has a threaded end to use with extension poles.
The Easy Reach Extendable Pole by Shur-line makes the hard to reach awkward inconvenient places such as ceilings easy to paint. The rod has a system which locks it in place to the height you want from 30" to 60". It is easy to adjust the height even when you are painting because all you need to do is pull the handle of the pole in one direction to adjust the height.
It has a universal threaded tip that allows multiple accessories to attach. The handle has a soft foam for comfort and a built-in notch to hang for storage.
Shur-line has made another tiresome, time consuming and frustrating job of painting the trims easier with their Edge like a pro product. We will no longer need to put painter's tape; which is good for the environment, saves money and time.
There is a retractable guide that lifts the wheels out of the way when painting, allowing the user to put the proper amount of paint on the pad. It has a button to easily remove the pads to clean it or discard. The premium pads are reusable and replaceable. The handle can be hand held or threaded to attach on the poles. It is faster, accurate and easier to paint baseboards, crown holding, doors, windows and ceilings.
Next time you paint, use Shurline and make your job easy. It is available in hardware and painting stores.
If you want to win $50 worth of Shur-line products leave a comment on this post before March 15th.
Update: The winner is psychgrad
