My family and I love Star Wars and we are excited about the upcoming movie Star Wars The Force Awakens. My son being a Kylo Ren Fan chose this Kylo Ren costume that comes with the lightsaber online. As a parent, I love letting my children play with costumes especially when they are young because because it helps them develop a variety of skills. Costumes encourage dramatic play, imagination, and creativity. Children can also develop their communication, language, and social skills when they dramatize characters, add emotions, and play with each other.

Lego® Star Wars The New Yoda Chronicles DVD and Book

Lego® Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles has arrived on DVD. This action packed release comes with four complete episodes, plus a bonus alternate ending. My children enjoyed the funny jokes in the episodes. My son enjoyed reading the LEGO Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles from DK, and inferencing from the movie to the book. This is an exciting book for children over six years.

What My Star Wars Fans Are Up-To This May 4th

Over the years, my children being big Star Wars fans like their father is usually up-to something or another on May 4th like all the Star Wars fans on this day. To show their enthusiasm for Star Wars, they enjoy reading Star Wars related books, build Star Wars themed LEGO, play games or watch Star Wars movies.

Get Ready For Star Wars Reads Day

October 5th bookstores, libraries and schools all around the world will be taking part in a one day celebration of literacy celebrating all things Star Wars. Star Wars Reads Day II is coming to Canada so don't forget to join in the fun and participate in reading about Star Wars. LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out

All the LEGO Star Wars fans will be excited to know that LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out is available on DVD.  

We thought that this movie was really fun that the whole family can enjoy.  The smooth animation is creative and was fun to watch.  My son was excited to watch this hilarious 22 minutes long DVD.  Since my son loves LEGO and owns some LEGO pieces for Star Wars characters he was very excited to see the Lego characters in action.  This action packed comic adventure also includes a Darth Vader minifigure for children over 6 years.
